We are proud to present a new vintage from the estate: the Chardonnay En Pérelles 2024!
Located north of the Chénas appellation – one of the ten Beaujolais crus – our En Pérelles plot is characterized by alluvial soils composed of sand, silt, clay, and pebbles. This terroir, rarer in this predominantly granitic region, offers a unique expression for Chardonnay .
Planted in 2018 and cultivated organically since planting, our vines benefit from a favorable environment: a gentle slope, good sun exposure, and the constant coolness provided by a nearby river. The light, well-drained soil, combined with the natural shade from the setting sun, helps preserve the acidity and vibrancy of the grapes until harvest.
The Chardonnay from this plot develops a precise and elegant profile : a nose dominated by white fruits, accompanied by fine touches of citrus, and a taut, fresh and luminous palate.
