A first for Château des Boccards at the Millésime Bio trade fair , an international event dedicated to organic wines .
For three days in Montpellier, we had the pleasure of introducing our organic Beaujolais wines , the result of our team's work in the vineyard and our approach to winemaking, to wine professionals from France and abroad.
Millésime Bio, an unmissable organic wine fair
Millésime Bio is today one of the most important trade fairs for organic wine estates . It brings together producers, wine merchants, importers, restaurateurs and wine journalists every year.
For our estate, this first participation represented a great opportunity to present the wines of Château des Boccards , located in the heart of the Chénas appellation , one of the ten crus of Beaujolais.
Objective: to showcase our family-run organic vineyard in Chénas
We continue to pursue our objective: to produce wines that are true to their terroir, respecting the vine, the soils and the natural balances.
At the Millésime Bio trade fair, we presented several vintages representative of our work:
- a 2023 organic Chénas , from our granite plots,
- our Auroralis 2024 vintage , a natural wine made with minimal intervention,
- our organic Chardonnay 2024 , the estate's new vintage.
These tastings allowed for numerous discussions around the revival of Beaujolais, organic viticulture and different winemaking approaches.

These moments of tasting and discussion are essential for an independent estate: they allow us to promote our wines, share our vision, and create lasting relationships with players in the wine world.

Beyond the trade fair, this participation was marked by numerous friendly encounters and exchanges, which are fully part of wine culture.
For us, wine is not just about agricultural production: it is also about transmission, sharing and encounters.
